2001 A Seed is Planted and Grows - The First Season of Canticle Farm
2001 1st Season Highlights include
-Purchase of the land on January 4th
-Well dug and electric fence installed
-1st distribution tent and shareholders 1st distribution days
-Summer Solstice Picnic Celebration
-Canticle Farm sign erected on October 4th
-Harvest Festival in October
The field in its original state. The land was purchsed in January 2001 from the ReHabilitation Center.
Tom Rasey did the first plowing of the land in the early spring of 2001.
The water well is drilled in the spring of 2001.
This was the view as you turned in the driveway. There was one tent, the pump house and the electric fence.
