2003 Canticle Farm is Incorporated
2003 3rd Season Highlights include
-Dedication of cooler in memory of Michael Schlosser
-Incorporation of Canticle Farm with new Board of Directors
Contributions from volunteers have always been critical to the growth of Canticle Farm. Here a crew transplants in a bed in 2003. The farm is now operating out of three tents.
Distribution for the CSA shareholders still occurs in a tent with a dirt floor in 2003.
One big milestone for 2003 was having cold storage available at the farm. The cooler was dedicated to the memory of Michael Schlosser at the Summer Solstice celebration in June 2003. Due to generous contributions from the community, the Michael Schlosser Memorial Fund covered the costs of the refrigeration unit and transportation costs. Thanks to the Eaton family for donating the insulated box unit. This piece of equipment still plays a major role in what we do at Canticle Farm.
