2005 Canticle Farm expands to offer a CSA Fall Share

 

2005 5th Season Highlights include
-1st high tunnel erected
-Building and dedication of barn in October
-Purchase of brush hog
-Completion of Canticle Farm cookbook
 

 

 

The first high tunnel is ready for use in the spring of 2005. The high tunnel extends the growing season of the vegetables inside it. This allowed us to offer our first CSA Fall shares.

Sr Frances and Karen deliver the completed Canticle Farm cookbooks. Every CSA shareholder in 2005 received a cookbook. Many thanks to Sr Frances, Karen and many others who spent months compiling the cookbook.

 

 

Vegetables are ready for the CSA shareholders in late summer of 2005.

 

 

A brave crew faced horrible weather conditions on the day of the barn raising in October 2005. Thanks to the Canticle Farm family and members of the community who contributed to the barn raising.

Sr Anne contintues to spend many hours supporting the farm. She is frequently seen mowing at the farm.
