What's Happening at Canticle Farm? Distribution Day Photos

 

A distribution day is when we hand out vegetables to our CSA customers. It is the day they come down to the farm to pick up their portion or share of what is harvested that week. The photos below show what the Fall CSA shareholders received on November 3, 2009.

 

 

The whiteboards in the barn indicate the items and quantities of those items for large and small shares.

 

 

Item 1 was winter squash.

 

 

Item 2 was choice of red cabbage, green cabbage, brussel sprouts or napa cabbage.

 

 

Item 3 was choice of kale and/or Swiss chard.

 

 

Item 4 was choice of garlic or shallot. Item 5 was choice of regular, daikon or beauty heart radishes.

 

 

Item 6 was turnips, carrots, beets or mix.

 

 

Item 7 was potatoes.

 

 

Item 8 was lettuce.

 

 

Item 9 was gourds. Item 10 was pac choi.

 

 

Item 11 was a selection from the Choice Table.
