Canticle Farm is proud to be in our 23rd year of growing only the best produce for you. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) connects Canticle Farm to families and individuals in our community with healthy, fresh-picked food through a shareholder/farmer relationship, which supports the farm throughout a growing season.
Our farming staff spends many long days in the field and high tunnels to manually seed, lovingly tend and carefully handpick the produce you receive in your share and at the Market. Oftentimes, it's even been harvested that very same day! You can't get any fresher than that.

What is a Shareholder?
By purchasing a summer and/or fall share, you become a CSA shareholder and part of the Canticle Farm family. As a shareholder, you agree to make a commitment to local agriculture by sharing the risks and rewards of each farming season with us. Shareholders understand that weather and other natural events may affect the quantity and quality of some of the produce. As we all know, Mother Nature does not always cooperate perfectly!
That said, the rewards of becoming a shareholder are amazing! Each week during the summer and fall share seasons (each sold separately), you will receive nutritious and flavorful produce that is sure to inspire you to explore the taste of new vegetables and create delicious dishes.
Purchase your share before each season begins and come to The Canticle Farm Market on Old State Road in Allegany on your designated day to pick up your share of the week’s freshly harvested bounty. Shares that are not picked up will automatically be donated to a local food pantry or you can make arrangements with our Outreach and Distribution manager for an alternative pickup for that week.
We understand that travel and extenuating circumstances may prevent you from occasionally picking up your share. No worries. You can make arrangements by calling (716) 307-5484 and discussing an alternative pickup of your share for that week. Another fun option is to gift that week's share to a family member, friend or neighbor to enjoy while you're away.

And we almost forgot to mention the fresh-cut herbs like parsley, basil and more. Are your taste buds tempted yet?
